new today

words from a card I bought months ago...


Seems like
            only yesterday
things looked like
            they'd never change...


...and now
             you're faced with incredible 
                                           new beginnings.





Life's turnarounds can be extraordinary.




You may never completely forget the past,


but it's nice to look back on it
         from the comfort of a new today.

I really do not have any new beginnings right now -

but I definitely had one last year.

And I am hoping that God grants me Isaiah 43:19 this year.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?

I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
